| The Christian Education Commission This Commission serves as an umbrella over Church School, Nursery – Grade 12, four adult classes and the Library. Many skilled and dedicated people are involved in the programs within these different groups. The library is kept up-to-date thanks to the dedication of Cliff S. Be sure to visit the library as many new books and videos are available for your enlightenment and enjoyment. If you do not currently attend Sunday School, why not give it a try. There is certainly a class that will fill your need. Each year we sponsor children participating in our Sunday school for the camping program at Shepherd’s Spring. Vacation Bible School is held every summer under the direction of our Christian Education Commission and dedicated volunteers. Each June we recognize our high school graduates with a gift, as well as recognizing graduates of higher education and listing those graduates special to members of the congregation. Promotion Sunday and Teacher Appreciation Sunday is celebrated each August. All those who taught during the past year are given special recognition during worship, and those children entering the third grade are given a Bible on that date. It is only through the faithful leadership of many and the support of the entire congregation that all of these programs succeed.
