Gilbert Romero (from Los Angeles, CA) and Scott Duffey (originally from Hagerstown, MD) combine their passion for music, Jesus, multiculturalism and justice to form the Bittersweet Gospel Band with other talented musicians from around the country.
The Band promotes Gilbert's Bittersweet Ministries which serves the poor in Mexico. The Band also raises awareness about issues like drug abuse, bullying, and poverty.
This concert will be a special benefit for the Hagerstown Area Religious Council (HARC) which is a coalition of faith communities in the Hagerstown area of Washington County. HARC is actively involved in community programs like Learning Parties and Micah's Backpack, as well as serves as a gathering place for the faith community and community resources to work together. Their motto is "we can do more together than we can do alone."
