our faith community through prayer, music  and the proclaimed Word, while enthusiastically reaching out to

VISION STATEMENT
Journeying with Christ - Serving Our Neighbors - Uniting at the Master’s Table
CHRISTIAN EDUCATION COMMISSION is responsible for the Church
School to include staffing and administration; Vacation Church
School; weekday religious education; camping; audiovisuals;
curriculum; men's, women's and youth fellowships; small group
fellowships; library and  leadership development.

Many skilled and dedicated people are involved in the programs
within these different groups.

Since this has been our 300th Anniversary year, the children used the
heritage curriculum for one quarter.  They shared some of the things
they learned one Sunday during the 11 AM worship service.  We hope
to be offering a new Adult Elective Class in January.  If you do not
currently attend Sunday School, why not give it a try.

This year we had eight children participating in the camping program
at Shepherd’s Spring.  Also our Junior-Senior Youth participated in
two Church of the Brethren Work Camps.  One of these camps was in
Roanoke and one in Chicago.

A successful Vacation Bible School was held in July.

On the second Sunday in June, we honor all graduates.

Teacher Appreciation Sunday is celebrated the last Sunday in August
All those who teach or help in any way during the program year are
given special recognition during morning worship.
